Step 1: Open the Template Installation Page
Click the installation link of the template to open its installation page.
Step 2: Review the Dependencies
On the installation page, check the Dependencies section.
This section shows which items the template will add to your system during installation, such as:
- Tags used in the template
- User-defined fields used in the template
- Flows included in the template
This helps you understand what will be imported before starting the installation.
Step 3: Click "Use Template"
Click the Use Template button.
At this stage, the system compares the tags, fields, and template flow names with the items already exist in your account.
If a tag or field with the same identity already exists, the system will use the existing one instead of creating a duplicate.
If the same tag or field was already used in another template you installed before, the system can still recognize it and reuse it, even if you renamed that tag or field after installation. In that case, the system will inform you that it plans to use the existing item.
You can place a screenshot here showing the Use Template step.
Step 4: Resolve Duplicate Flow Names if Needed
If the flow name included in the template already exists in your account exactly with the same name, the system will show a message telling you that duplicate flow names are not allowed.
In that case, you should change the template name before continuing.
Step 5: Click "Import"
After reviewing everything, click the Import button.
The template installation will begin and usually takes a few seconds.
Once the installation is complete, the newly added flow will open in Draft mode so you can start customizing it.
While editing, you can click Save at the top right of the screen to save your progress and continue later.
Once your changes are complete, click Publish Draft in the top-right corner to activate the flow.
If you want to customize it later, you can simply close it. The flow will remain saved in draft mode inside the Flow menu, and you can reopen it at any time.
To edit the flow later:
- Open the Flow menu.
- Find the installed template in your flow list. It is in Draft mode.
- Click the three dots next to the flow name to open the options menu.
- Click Edit to open the flow in Draft mode.
Step 6: Customize the Flow
After installing the template, the flow will be added to your Flow menu as a draft, and you can customize it however you like.
Before using it, you should review the content, define the right triggers and keyword, update the texts, images, button labels, links, and anything else you want, and then publish the flow to make it active.
Step-by-Step Flow Customization
Step 1: Configure the Trigger Node ( Trigger condition and define keywords)
The first part you should configure is the Trigger Node.
Click the Trigger Node to the Trigger Setting panel. There, you can define how users will enter the flow.
In Elpidan, you can use the following trigger conditions:
- User comments on a post or reel
- User comments on a Story
- User comments on a Live
- User sends a message
In most templates, all of these trigger conditions are selected by default. If you want, you can remove any of the ones you do not need.
For example, if you want to remove **User comments on a Live**, you can delete it as shown in the screenshot below.
After selecting the trigger Condition, the next step is defining Keywords that must be met for the trigger to actually activate the flow.

Step 2: Review the Instagram Nodes
After configuring the Trigger Node, move to the Instagram nodes inside the flow.
Review and update:
- Message texts
- Images
- Button labels
- Button links
- Quick replies
- Cards or gallery content, if used
Each template includes example content, so you should replace it with your own content before publishing the flow.

Step 3: Update Media and Links
If the flow includes images, videos, audio, or external links, replace the sample items with your own assets.
For example, you may need to update:
- Product images
- Guide or ebook cover images
- Booking links
- Purchase links
- Affiliate links
- Community invitation links
Always test each link after updating it.
Step 4: Review Buttons and User Paths
Check all buttons, quick replies, and branching paths to make sure users are sent to the correct next step.
For example:
- A download button should open the correct download link
- A purchase button should send the user to the right checkout page
- A follow-confirmation button should continue to the correct next node
- An Another Flow button should open the intended flow
This step is important because templates often include multiple paths and actions.
You can place a screenshot here showing button settings and connected paths.
Step 5: Edit Tags, Fields, and Other Logic
If the template uses tags, custom fields, conditions, or action nodes, review them carefully and make sure they fit your use case.
For example, you may want to:
- Rename a tag
- Use a different user-defined field
- Change a condition rule
- Add or remove an action node
You can also create new nodes or remove existing ones if needed.
You can place a screenshot here showing tags, fields, or condition settings.

Step 6: Save Your Changes
While editing the flow, click Save regularly so your progress is not lost.
You do not need to finish all changes in one session. You can save the draft and continue later whenever you want.
Step 7: Publish the Flow
Once all edits are complete and your trigger settings are ready, click Publish Draft in the top-right corner.
After publishing, the flow becomes active and can start responding to users based on your trigger settings.
You can place a screenshot here showing the Publish Draft button.

You can customize any part of the flow based on your own needs. This includes:
- Editing content
- Replacing links and media
- Changing button labels
- Adding or removing nodes
- Changing tags, fields, and logic
- Expanding the flow with additional steps
Use the template as a starting point, then adapt it to fit your own campaign, offer, and workflow.
